Really enjoyed this book. It was a great take on the familiar Little Mermaid tale, but with sirens and Ursula for a mom! The story was fun, the characters were intriguing, and I had a hard time putting it down. Lira was an interesting character and her development throughout the story was well-done. The author did a great job of world-building and the descriptions were extremely lush--at times almost too much so. I would definitely recommend this book!
