I had a very very hard time getting into this book. I kept plodding along but felt like I was waiting for something to happen--that never did. I also felt as though I was missing information, perhaps because I did not read the first book in the series. I do not mind having books in a series build off of each other, but if one must read the 1st book to understand what is going on in the second book, then that needs to be disclosed to the reader before he or she starts the book. I was disappointed with this book and did not finish it.
