These Rebel Waves

There was too much going on in this one for me. I was not a fan. I may have gotten through the second chapter...?

I was very intrigued by this book, because it sounded very interesting. I had a very hard time getting into it, however. There were a lot of names--of places, ethnic groups, towns, people, etc.--and I had an extremely hard time keeping up with all of it. All of the information took away from my ability to get lost in the book and enjoy what I was reading. I kept having to stop and say, "Wait, where was that?" or "What group was that?" or "Who was that?" It made reading the book difficult and I did not finish it.
