I had a hard time from the get-go with this book. When the heroine suffers from amnesia and comes to the mistaken conclusion that the man sitting in her room is her husband, she just seems to accept that "fact" much too easily. She does not question it or hesitate to jump right in to the role of wife. That made me have a hard time identifying with her and believing what was going on in the story. If she had some doubts or reservations about being the wife of a completely unfamiliar man this book would have been much better.
