I really enjoyed reading this book. The heroine was strong, well-developed, and believable. I enjoyed seeing her grow from a new-born to a young woman. The story kept me interested, although some of the secondary characters could have been left out, as they really had no bearing on the story.
I liked the folklore/fairy tale aspect of the book, and would recommend this to anyone looking for a great read for a cold winter's day.
