Books

I love to read.  I have since I was 4 and read my first book, Robert the Rose Horse.  From that moment I went on to read everything I could get my hands on.  I have evolved into a book hoarder, and am currently working as a librarian, which I LOVE!
My favorite books are history, particularly Ancient through Medieval Europe (that is what I studies in grad school); historical romance, particularly Regency (ever since I read my first Georgette Heyer book in Middle School); fantasy (I read the Hobbit in 5th grade and was hooked); mystery (Agatha Christie was another Middle School favorite!); and even YA. But I will read almost anything.
My favorite "book" of all time is Beowulf.  I think it is amazing.
But when I became a librarian, I began reviewing books. On Goodreads, NetGalley, Edelweiss, and even Amazon and Barnes & Noble.  And now I am sharing those reviews on my blog. There are all kinds of reviews here, because in the past 4 years I have read all kinds of books!
