Baba Yaga's Assistant by Marika McCoola
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
The illustrations were great. The story fell a bit flat. The "solutions" to the tasks that Masha were given seemed a bit too easy/convenient. And the pacing was a bit disjointed. And boy, Masha's dad was a huge jerk! All that being said, middle-graders to middle-schoolers who enjoy graphic novels and folktales/fairytales should like this book.
